KEG Shopfitters was built on a foundation of dedication, hard work, and a passion for craftsmanship. Our founder, Jarmaine Barends, began his journey in the shopfitting industry in 2002, starting from the ground up—literally—sweeping floors as an apprentice. Through determination and a deep desire to master the trade, he progressed to become an assistant, then a manager, and eventually stepped out to establish his own business in 2007.
Today, with over 23 years of hands-on experience, Jarmaine continues to be directly involved in every project, personally meeting with clients and monitoring progress to ensure each job meets the highest standard. His commitment to excellence is the driving force behind KEG Shopfitters' success.
Our team is made up of highly skilled and experienced professionals who bring unique expertise to each project. Based in Phoenix Industrial Park, our fully equipped factory allows us to handle all aspects of production in-house. We operate advanced machinery including a Panel Saw, Edge Bander, Drill Press, Thicknesser, and a dedicated Spray Booth, which enables us to deliver custom finishes in any colour or texture—precisely to client specifications.
We are proudly a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor and remain committed to maintaining this standard as part of our dedication to inclusive and sustainable business practices.
